The Annual New Years Eve Party!

Each New Year’s Eve, we host a unique and wonderful party and our annual fundraiser at The Celtic on Market Irish Pub in Downtown Denver to kick off the new year “Irish style.” We have an Irish band and session players, Irish step dancers, and the famous Michael Collins bagpipe band. We toast the new year at 5:00 pm MST (7:00 pm EST) because that is when it turns New Year’s Day in Dublin, Ireland.

For this year’s Irish New Year’s Eve celebration at The Celtic on Market, we are offering three levels of sponsorship. They are listed below. If you are interested in being a sponsor, please email us at carriganaohcolorado@gmail.com.

The Carrigan Division’s NYE Event Beneficiary Levels

All of our sponsors will be mentioned on social media and in our program at the event.

Here are some of the Carrigan Division’s Beneficiaries:

* Annunciation Catholic School, Denver, Colorado.
We support athletics, provide coaches and volunteers, and support religious education.

* Samaritan House Homeless Shelter, Catholic Charities.

* Irish Miners’ Memorial, Evergreen Cemetery, Leadville, Colorado.
Records show that 1,339 immigrants are buried in the cemetery in mostly unmarked graves, 70-80% of which are Irish. The average age of those buried is 23. We support the ongoing efforts to honor the memory of those who met their deaths there trying to find a better life. We are in the process of offering financial and volunteer help. The Carrigans are going to donate the permanent benches on the trail surrounding the memorial.

*Survivors of Gun Violence, Colorado.
Provide funding and volunteer work to help support and stabilize survivors of gun violence in our communities.

Denver Catholic Worker House, Denver Colorado.
*In 2022, we will be considering becoming involved as volunteers and sponsors at The Denver Catholic Worker House founded by Servant of God Dorothy Day that serves the poor and homeless.

Additional Beneficiaries
*We will also consider additional beneficiaries as they are proposed to us throughout the year.

The donation to The Carrigan Society gets you Free admission for two to the event and six free beers or house wines at the event.
